Заключение

Весьма полезно противопоставить подход Павла, который мы встречаем в Первом послании к Коринфянам, подходу анализируемых нами современных миссиологов.

I. Павел признает, что верующие, недавно обратившиеся из анимизма, ошибаются в своих представлениях о реальности и природе сверхъестественных существ и их силы и называет таких верующих «немощными братьями». Миссиологи, о которых идет речь в нашей книге, утверждают, что верующие, недавно обратившиеся из анимизма, находятся в контакте с миром духов. Кроме того, эти миссиологи открыто присоединяются к точке зрения таких верующих.

II. Павел отрицает, что различные объекты распространяют какое-либо опасное влияние. Миссиологи утверждают: анимисты правы, считая, что духовные силы передаются посредством контакта с определенными материальными объектами. Сомневающихся в этом они называют естественно-научными рационалистами.

III. Павел отрицает достоверность подобных верований, однако исходит не из рационального естественно-научного подхода, но из ортодоксальной христианской доктрины. Опираясь на нее, Павел отдает предпочтение взглядам «сильных братьев». Что же касается миссиологов, то они отдают предпочтение взглядам «немощных братьев», а также сами начинают разделять эти взгляды, становясь их яростными сторонниками и призывая сделать то же самое всех остальных.

IV. С антропологической точки зрения Павел признает, что представления различных культур о таких вещах, как идолы и духи, хотя и являются ошибочными, обладают некоей культурной реальностью, которую необходимо принимать во внимание. Это реальность, в которой люди оказываются вследствие принадлежности к определенному социуму. Однако эта реальность не является точным отражением того, что существует на самом деле, и анализируемые нами авторы оставляют здравый антропологический подход, смешивая представления отдельной культуры и подлинную реальность.



Павел был превосходным антропологом. Он не стремился слиться с местным населением, однако он сознавал, что местные верования имеют последствия для духовной жизни и благополучия человека. То есть в отличие от своих «сильных братьев» он уважал людей с подобными верованиями и не пренебрегал этими верованиями в методологии своего служения.

Анализируемые нами авторы предлагают два возможных пути благовестия: либо христианин отвергает верования в духов, превращаясь в неэффективного миссионера, либо он принимает такие верования, смешивает свои представления о мире с представлениями анимистов (или же тех, кто недавно обратился из анимизма), и в результате наблюдается эффективное служение и замечательный рост церкви.

Но Павел отвергал оба этих пути. Он отвергал упорство «сильных братьев», настаивающих, что единственно возможной является безапелляционная и бескомпромиссная верность своим убеждениям, однако при этом апостол также отвергал возможность принятия позиции «немощного брата». Вместо этого Павел указывал, что мы должны принимать во внимание культурно-религиозные представления других людей и строить нашу пасторскую или миссионерскую работу так, чтобы проявлять снисходительность и тактичное отношение к подобным культурно-религиозным реалиям, сохраняя правильное доктринальное понимание этих реалий.

Именно этим путем должна двигаться современная миссиология, хотя пока она не сумела сделать это достаточно хорошо. Если миссиология сумеет распознать, что мы вступили на ошибочный путь, если она переориентируется и начнет двигаться путем апостола Павла (путем, который сохраняет теологическую целостность и непротиворечивость в своем понимании бесовских сил и субъективных культурно-антропологических реалий, а также методологию, которая учитывает и то и другое), у нас появится надежда решить эту непростую задачу — организацию правильной миссионерской работы с анимистами, будь они жителями Амазонии или нашими соотечественниками.
